ALIRA Tribun is designed as a response to "Vox Populi," a blend of two noble red grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted to surprise and delight. It's an interesting combination of wine that has spent 3 months in French oak barrels and wine preserved in stainless steel tanks to retain the notes of fresh fruit.
Visual:
Garnet red
Taste:
The taste is full and well-defined, supporting the olfactory aromas, with discrete mineral notes added.
Olfactory:
It has balanced and strong aromas, where you can distinguish notes of red forest fruits, candied red grapes, cherries, along with hints of cardamom, eucalyptus, and a touch of vanilla.
Food Pairing:
Popular kebabs, preferably the lamb version, risotto with porcini mushrooms and aged Parmesan, beef goulash, or even a braised beef tail with red wine.
Winemaking:
The grapes were hand-harvested, and fermentation took place in special stainless steel tanks for red wine fermentation and maceration, state-of-the-art tanks equipped with automated liquid circulation pumps, as well as in rotary tanks (ROTO type), where there is more intense maceration. The "cold maceration" method was applied for 5-8 days, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 24-25°C for 8-10 days. A blend was made between the two grape varieties after their separate fermentation and after partial storage in oak barrels for 8-10 months.
