ALIRA Fetească Neagră is the tribute we pay to our national grape variety. Made from hand-selected grapes, the resulting wine reflects the maximum potential of the variety: fine tannins and complex aromas. It is a well-defined Fetească Neagră with nicely balanced acidity and tannins.

Taste:
It has a complex and elaborate taste, bringing additional hints of green walnuts and sweet spices, followed by a long and expressive finish.
Aroma:
The nose is strong and rich, with intense and persistent aromas of overripe cherries, dark chocolate, and subtle hints of truffles and toasted bread.
Food Pairings:
Red meat dishes, from veal goulash to game in sauce. It can elevate a platter of aged cheeses. It is also recommended alongside duck breast or Italian sausages.
Vinification:
The grapes were harvested manually, with careful processing on the two modern sorting lines. Fermentation took place in special stainless steel tanks for the fermentation and maceration of red wines, state-of-the-art tanks equipped with automated liquid circulation pumps, as well as in rotary tanks (ROTO type), where more intense maceration occurs. The "cold maceration" method was applied for 5-8 days, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 24-25°C for 8-10 days. The wine was aged in barrels for 12-18 months.
